For the record, I still hate Best Coast. Passionately. That aside, this remix is ridiculous. This could easily be a Generationals track. Lindstrom has transformed her normally drone-y vocals and cloned her to sound like a 50′s girl group. He’s channeling Phil Spector here: heavy reverb with very moderated instrumentation aside from a simple, driving bass. Kudos to him for giving this band some class, some listenability, and a great wall of sound.
