Chrome Canyon’s “Generations” is somewhere in between Justice’s latest release and the work of Jean Michel Jarre. There are a lot of complex tones here that mold the soundscape. It’s got a great analog sound, reflective of that era where we were optimistic that things would be simplified and digitized. It’s also some of the best analog synth brass I’ve ever heard, not unlike Vangelis’ work on Blade Runner.
