I can’t decide if I like this guy. Typically, I tread lightly when it comes to the indie electronic turned hip-hop producer thing. It’s a hard thing to get right. Ratatat managed to do it well, but I think Com Truise picked the wrong dude. Clams Casino is a bit more high-profile; having worked with Lil B, Soulja Boy, and Main Attrakionz previously. Not all of his current release, Rainforest, is this approachable or lush. His sampling of Imogen Heap really takes the edge off here. (Note, this is not an endorsement of Imogen Heap)
