Kano was an italo-disco group formed in 1979. Many believe them to be the foundation of italo-disco.

This track is uncharacteristic of their sound, which regularly focused more on dance-able music. This is more of an “I’m in the queue at an Epcot ride” type of sound. It’s hopelessly commercial but that’s also where the charm comes from. Slow this down 20% and you have Com Truise. Sample it and you have Kavinsky. This was three decades ahead of its time.
