There is a stigma about Jacksonville. I’ve never met anyone who’s come here and said “I want to live here indefinitely.” Part of this can be attributed to our inability to produce a thriving arts and culture environment. We’re seen as the origin of “Freebird” and the wretched womb that birthed Limp Bizkit, and that’s been very difficult to escape.

Artists like Sundrenched are helping us shed that skin. He’s part of a community here that is starting to play-up the understated and show our real range. “Ice Cream Truck” is comfortably repetitive with just enough layers to hold interest. It’s the perfect track to back up your first test video of your new DSLR. It’s not complicated and it’s not loud, just like Jacksonville.
